The assessment process often involves review of existing documents, interviews with appropriate building personnel, and in-depth visual and manual inspection of existing conditions. Our goal is to get a clear understanding of your building’s health while also identifying issues and their causes.

Report & Recommendation

Our building condition assessments create a solid foundation for maintenance, management, planning, & budgeting. We organize our findings into a thorough report that outlines the condition of your building, any issues present, and our recommended solutions for treatment and preservation.

Design Development

We utilize the combined expertise of our firm and respected consultants to create the plan by which your building’s prescribed work will be implemented. This involves the drafting and compiling of floor plans, specifications, and drawings, all of which will later be refined and serve as the manual for your future construction.

Construction Administration

With your project manual in hand, we offer full management and coordination of your construction. We provide specification review, contractor bidding and selection, and contract execution. Once construction begins, we oversee progress until completion to assure deadlines are met and quality work is delivered.

Expert Witness

We review documents and designs that are prepared for publication, and in some instances are already published. We are responsible for commentary to the effect of suggesting, or advising, the author, although the authors are always responsible for the content of each piece of work.

Peer Review

By virtue of education and experience, we are believed to have knowledge in the subject of Building Envelopes beyond that of the average person, sufficient that others may legally rely upon our specialized opinion. Our engineering expertise makes our testimony an asset when resolving a dispute.
